I heard the news on the radio - I had no idea he was 70 years old. A moment of silence for a true original.

I met him, once. I took this picture of him at the Tartan Day parade in NYC a few years back. Didn't know who he was, at the time. He had the funniest "kilt" outfit I ever saw, and he played left-handed.

    RIP, Rufus.

I've never heard of him. does he have any records out? I would love to hear his music.

Surely there is a band of pipers in heaven.

He has a few CD's out. My brother bought one on ebay. His sound is certainly unique, combining his piping with more traditional jazz instruments. I will honour his memory with dram too.
