    Pipes of War

A film to be released next fall entitled Pipes of War. It's the story of the renown WW1 Scottish-born Canadian piper James C Richardson.

    Heres the trailer:

Piper Richardson won the Victoria Cross posthumously. Should be a good film if they don't 'Hollywood' it too much.

    Slainte,
    steve

Wow. That's one we'll all see. If it's as good as the trailer, it'll be a really good picture.

Like you, I hope they don't screw it up with . . . well, you know how Hollywood screws stuff up. . . political correctness, modern sentiments, etc.

It looks good! I can hardly wait for the release. It's labeled a documentary film, so I would expect better historical accuracy than the typical Hollywood treatment.

Looks great. I'm looking forward to seeing it...about a three hankie for me I'd say from the looks of that trailer!

That looks great, I'll be in line for sure.

Because of physical limitations and circumstances, I'll just have to wait until I can get it on DVD. But it appears to be definitely a must have.

If you haven't tried them yet, I would recommend taking a look at Netflix. My wife and I started using them about nine months ago. It is cheaper than renting locally, you can keep them as long as you like (without late charges.) When you start with them you fill out a list of what you would like to see (they also send movies of like genre.) We receive four movies a week after we view them we send them back in prepaid mailers. As soon as they receive the movies, they send out the next titles on your list.

This movie is definitely going on our list.

Maybe they're trying not to scare off the mainstream crowd.
