Prince Charles - Post Wedding

I've counted three different tartan kilts that I've seen Prince Charles in since he took... um... "that" up to Scotland with him. I've also noticed that the man has matching kilt hose and sporrans with the lighter colored kilts. Nice look! Atleast he has taste in kilt attire.

I still say that his new wife looks like Willem Dafoe in drag!

Anyone have sources for pictures of the last week in Scotland?

Jimmy I guess he did what some of us do...pack a few kilts for the holiday.

He does wear the kilt well, and "that" lass (her name is Carmilla) has been commended by the media for her dress sense, she seems to be getting some good advice and has the cash to follow it.

Look, I think they have both done wrong, they are both adulterers, and they will pay the price. I doubt if Charles will become king. However, I sympathise in some ways, they are victims of the system and were never free to follow their hearts as we mere subjects are, so if they have found some happiness now - I would not want to deprive them.

Thinking of those who condemn the couple, especially the media, for their indescretions...a saying comes to mind..."let him who is without sin, cast the first stone".

I'm sure some of those reporters have wrecked a marriage or two!!

Graham, I agree with you completely. Just leave them alone to find what happiness they can. Lord knows they'll be living in a fishbowl. All the fuss really is unwarranted.

Excellent points Graham. I think that Charles wears the kilt well. In terms of his marriage, I can not condemn him. After all do you beieve him to be the first (or the last) in the monarchy to stray outside their marriage? My grandfather had an affair for 20 years with the same woman, and once he and my grandmother were divorced, he was able to marry this woman. They continue to be very happy together. I hope the same for Charles and his new bride.

I fear that I am in a very small minority. I consider Lady Diana Spenser Windsor to have been neither a saint nor even especially attractive.

She was a member of nobility, so she should not have been amazed that as Princess of Wales, she'd be living 24/7 in the limelight. So I've little sympathy for her inability to cope with the attenction.

As Colin, and Graham said (more or less), Charles did wrong, and will pay eventually. Either by atonement or punishment. Let the folks live their lives and meet judgement as they see fit.

I wish both of them well. And God Bless them all.

My wife is a very staunch believer in the sanctity of marriage (thank goodness), and constantly berates adulterers when they are displayed in some positive, or rather, a lack of negative, light.

In this case, she applauds the both of them. She thinks its great that Charles and Camilla, so obviously in love with each other, can be together....

As far as the kilts go, Charles is truly a great example of how to wear them..

I argee that what's done is done, and as long as both parties are happy, then let them be happy!

I give Charles a tip of the hat for his kilt wear.. I think it makes him less stuffy, as he is accused of being..

HRH the Duke of Rothesay is also quite devotee of piping -- He is featured in the documentary "Instrument of War" talking about piping with the oldest surviving piper from the First World War, and during the course of the conversation he mentioned the Gordon pipers who played each night at dinner at Balmoral, and how he was allowed to stay up past his bed time to hear the pipers play. You could hear the sincerity in his voice.

Prince Charles was colonel-in-chief of the Gordons, and now is C-in-C of the Black Watch after his grandmother's passing, may she rest in peace. He also the C-in-C of the Highlanders (Gordons & Queens Own amalgamted).
