Project Managers in Edinburgh (2005)

As a Professional Project Manager, I am a member of the Project Management Institute, the group responsible for establishing PM standards and promoting the practice of PM. I had forgotten about this until I received a copy of this year's annual report, but last year they held a global congress in Edinburgh.

I'm sure it was a bit of a stunt, but they managed to get five of the leadership in kilts at the opening of the congress. There's photo of the event on the front page of the July 2005 PMItoday, a monthly newsletter, next to a piper in full regalia, and some dancers on a later page. It's a big file, so I wouldn't recommend downloading it unless you have a fast internet connection.

I just may look into that: a tartan I can finally wear that no one can assail. I thought it was a pretty shade of blue.
