Ralph Wears a Utilikilt in the 'O' 'Z'

I am watching "Tinman" which was created by the Sci-Fi channel. Tinman is a sequel to the Wizard of OZ. I noticed that the person that did the costuming leaned toward skirted outfits which of course delighted me. Well, in Part II, when the fugitives find a "safe cottage" owned by Ralph and Lorraine, I immediately took notice of Ralph's outfit. It certainly was skirted, had side pockets and was made of leather. Well, when he turned front on, I saw the "U" shaped snap fasteners on the front which signals a Utilikilt. Imagine my surprise at discovering that people in the 'O' 'Z' wear Utilikilts!

    Anyone else catch this?

    From the outside track.......

For the past few years, Steve has set up a Utilikarian booth at most of then costume designer conferences, as well as put some UK presence at all of the scriptwriters conventions. Planting the seeds.....

If only the lion could have worne a traditional kilt in the original, he wouldn't have been so scared! And had the scarecrow worn a Freedom Kilt, they would have found the Wizard so much more easily! * Wrings hands *

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
