    Reg in a kilt?

Last night on The Bill, with an upcoming wedding to attend Reg suggests to his colleague that he has Scottish links and might wear a kilt to the wedding. His colleague makes a remark about Reg's legs in a "s*irt".

    Typical I suppose

Yes, however, it depends on who was saying it. For instance, Tony would say it just to tweak Reg, for instance, and the viewers would know this. I haven't watched The Bill regularly for years, but I remember Reg well. He'd probably be able to pull off a kilt-wearing quite well.

Sounds like the time I was at a wedding in England a few years back. There were about 10 of us from Scotland all kilted and the photographer called for "all the men in skirts" for a photo. He nearly got his camera inserted where the sun don't shine I can tell you.
Talking about "the Bill" didn't the Mitchells wear kilts once for a wedding in "Eastenders"? I seem to remember my wife saying something about it a while back.

I was hopeful for a brief moment. My father-in-law's name is Reg and he summed up his attitude about kilts this way: "A guy in a skirt with a shiv in his sock." Although he's clearly disappointed on the few occasions when I'm not kilted. People are funny.

People just do that sometimes its pretty funny. But it can get annoying. One time at halloween a bunch of kids wanted to put me in their bags cause I had a kilt and cool armor. I said no, then they asked if they could take my head... and I was like... "uhhh its not that cool go take my nieghbour away or something." and then I gave them extra candy to get rid of them. It was wierd and then you get people at schools asking why your wearing a kilt. and you simply say you are playing the pipes later, and then they beg you to play them for 5 mins untill they get board and leave. And then you get the immature basic insults. so life can be tough but if you burn someone good you feel really proud. and they dont. yah.... good not so good times.
