Talking Rest in peace, 'Scary Scot'

Today's Google "news clipping" service sent the the following link:

    http://www.mlive.com/news/grpress/in...520.xml&coll=6

CALEDONIA -- Children can again sleep at night because Caledonia High School replaced its aging mascot costume known as the "Scary Scot."
    ...

Interesting logo on their Web site:

    http://www2.caledonia.k12.mi.us/

and pictures of the kilted mascot himself:

(Perhaps this post should have been on the never-ending "Do's and Don'ts" thread.)

So, when do we start raising funds to send Hamish down there to educate them as to the proper length of a traditional kilt?

    Yeah, he does.

It looks strikingly similar to some of the garments worn by the early Belmonts in Castlevania ... or even some Link outfits from Zelda. Link's outfit was a Tunica that was about that length.
