Kilts in the Media Was someone famous wearing a kilt? Did the media cover a Kilt issue?

Richard Thompson

I got a Richard Thompson box set for Christmas and there is a fragment of a photo of him in a kilt. Anyone got a full pic of the Man in the kilt?

There's this one, apparently from a wedding in 2003:

Thanks,

That seems to be his standard kilted rig. The tartan is the same, as is the jabot. I can't be sure about the jacket from either pic. He seems to always wear a hat, so the Balmoral looks just right on him.

Ah, he is one of my favorites!
I have seen him many times in concert, across the US and he is never kilted, but wears the hat. He does tell wonderful stories!

I shall be at Fairport's Cropredy festival this year, kilted throughout!
