    Room Rivals on BBC America

John, one of the two designers on the BBC show 'Room Rivals' always wears a kilt. Usually a camoflage kilt, but sometimes a solid dark color.

Never heard of it let alone seen it. I gather it's another (yecchh) "reality" show.

I think it's the BBC (original) version of what's seen in the US as Changing Spaces, maybe?

'Reality,' but in the Monster Garage/Junkyard Wars/Panic Mechanics vein.

Yes, it's John Amabile that you are thinking of here. He is a respected Interior Designer in the UK and he does, indeed, wear both camouflage and plain black kilts in the TV Show. His kilts are made by "21st Century Kilts" in Edinburgh (look for the 'lightning flash' kilt pin which is the TFCK trademark). I was introduced to John by Howie Nicholsby (He of TFCK) a couple of years ago - a really nice guy he is too.
