Scottish Ninjas

So I was doing a Google search for Scottish Ninjas when I noticed there was a discussion on this forum some time ago about our old cartoon back in the day.

Here is a link to the old thread

I was pleased to see that it was so warmly received by everyone here. I wanted to post a reply, but it was long since closed. Then I noticed a forum all about Kilts in the Media and it seemed like a perfect place to make our announcement.

The Scottish Ninjas are back!

We just finished a 20 minute pilot episode that we plan to pitch to various television networks.

You can visit, www.scottishninjas.com to see our newly revamped website. You can also visit our youtube channel to view our latest animations. And lastly, become a fan on our facebook fanpage.

Thanks for supporting our cartoon back when it was just a tiny Quicktime video lost in the endless sea of the internet.

By the way, I got my first kilt the other week. The co-creator of Scottish Ninjas and myself will be wearing them to the Seattle Comic Con to promote the cartoon next month. Good times!

As the great Salvador Dali once said "I do not take drugs. I am drugs."

If all goes well, this will be our jobs and then we'll have no spare time on our hands.

As a Scottish-Sword-Fighting-Ninja-Enthuthiasist, I can definantly appreciate this.

It is interesting just how you will interpret some classic ninja devices! like smoke bombs. Perhaps.. Haggis Bomb? o_O

The only thing I bet you will get called on is that, your kilts, have no pleats!

All I can say about Haggis bombs is that clearly great minds think alike.

So you noticed the lack of pleats, did ya? Not only do you have a great mind, but the eyes of a hawk! The lack of pleats is purely an animation choice, as removing them helps streamline the animation process. One smooth line is easier to control and keep consistent, than a series of angular ones. Please don't hold the lack of pleats against us.

Our composer would be tickled pink to hear that. He came up with that brilliant theme after much trial and error. We love the final result. Thank you for the kind words.
