    SFU Pipeband wins worlds!

    http://www.canada.com/vancouversun/n...d-f020f77035ed

Congratulations to the Simon Fraser University Grade 1 pipe band on winning their 5th world championship. I can see Simon Fraser University from my place and I have been fortunate to meet several members of the band and hear the band perform many times.

If you ever get the chance to see them I highly recommend it.

Congratulations to the Simon Fraser University Band indeed, and as Phil has said to all who made it to the worlds.

Congratulations to all who competed, The winner is more than the trophy, it is the trial that brought the many to the green, that brought about one winner of winners. Congrats to SFU Pipe Band, Drum Corps, and leadership.
For next year its practice, practice, practice, perform.
