Skiing in Kilts World Record Bid - X Marks the Scot

CairnGorm Mountain Ski Area above Aviemore in Scotland will attempt to set a world record for the largest number of kilted skiers/boarders by aiming to have 600 kilted skiers and snow boarders head down the mountain at once in a single consecutive line. All proceeds benefit a local hospice and ski program.

having fomerly spent a good bit of time on a board this sounds fun, but awfully uncomfortable if you were to catch an edge and biff.

Sounds like a fun outing and a good cause. I'll have to pass this one on to my son who lives to ski.

I've only ever done Nordic skiing in my Kilt, but I had a lot of fun and was totally comfortable and warm.

Hope they raise a lot of money. The hospic there does A LOT of good work.
