    Tartan News on PBS

According to my brother he saw a show on a local pbs station in the Bay Area called tartan news or something to that affect. On it was Billy Conelley talking about some Bambiists complaing about his Badger sporran. Any way he called to tell me about it but I missed it. Is Tartan News a weekly? Has any one even heard of it?

I think it is the same thing and we get it every Saturday in central PA from PBS in State College PA. Some really interesting spots and always fun.

If you look around on that site, you can find a video of Billy at some games; it's under the "Celebreties" catagory. I couldn't get much sound, so I don't know if that's the clip you're thinking of...

    Exclamation

I wish they would produce some new episodes of Tartan TV, or if they have that they would air them around my neck of the woods. I've seen the same dozen or so shows repeated ad nauseum!

Amused at thought of BC going on about his sporran-talk about changing spots!

Many years ago I heard him going on about men in 'wee girly tartan skirts'--'the Celtic mist'.

    Bambiists
I like that. Or even, Bambistas. Here in PEI, we are, of course, loaded down with them currently due to the seal hunt. Buch of wankers.

Oops, back to your regularly scheduled thread.

But Pamela Anderson said it was wrong....goes to prove that people will join any cause if a celeb tells them to.

Tartan TV looks pretty cool. We can only get it online here. Under the Celebrity section, they also have a segment on Hamish Clark looking up family roots, an interview about Scottish heritage with Kyle MacLaughlin, etc, etc.
A lot of neat stuff on their.
