The Ten Show in Philadelphia

Hello,

We got a random call today from "The 10 Show" (on NBC 10) in Philadelphia today. They want to do a live remote broadcast from our shop on March 17th. We'll be decking out the reporter in a kilt and accessories and he'll be checking out our shop. If you're by a TV in the Philly region that morning, be sure to check it out! If not, I'm sure we can get a link to the segments after the show airs.

Hmmm... what to wear, what to wear...

Yeah... relaxing on Patty's day. That's like santa relaxing on Xmas eve. hahaha.

Not sure how good we'll be. I'm good in small groups, but public speaking (and yes, I consider TV public speaking) was never my 'forte'. I'm sure it'll be fine, but I'll still get 'butterflies'.

Just channel your well earned confidence as a kiltmaker into it and you’ll be fine.

Good for you and as they say in the acting/in front of camera business, I am told; "break a leg".

I'll do my best. I just hate being portrayed as an 'expert' in anything (and would never claim to be) as I'm always a little afraid what I say isn't 100% accurate. Oh well. Game on.

You've got butterflies? C'mon...you da man! You've gotta get on there and EXUDE confidence on behalf of all of us. Think about it....if you can wear a kilt, that pretty much shows that you can do anything. Just don't let the reporter put on a kilt and start doing dumbass things and cheap kilt jokes....better still, tell them to send a woman reporter...that'd work out better on several levels.

Or should we start a pool on all of the corny kilt jokes that the reporter is going to do? Keep it "on message", Rocky!

Best
