    Tigers of Scotland

What a great documentary currently on Netflix about the issues affecting the Scottish Wildcat and the efforts to preserve the species. Whether you own a kilt in the Scottish Wildcat tartan or not, I highly recommend this film. The highlands of Scotland are truly a treasure to be preserved along with this beautiful and charismatic species of wildcat. Kudos to McMurdo for leading the effort to contribute to this cause, my hat is off to you! Watch the film, see what owning this tartan contributes to. I don't personally look good in earthy tones, but after watching the documentary I really want a kilt in this tartan!

Thank you I was a small part of a large team, I am still so very proud of the tartan we came up with. I watched the documentary the other day and I thought it was excellent.

Excellent documentary. Louise Hughes, who is interviewed on the film, is a personal friend. She is no longer with the Aigas Field Centre but, while there, had charge of the Centre's breeding program and remains very involved in the Cairngorms. My family has long been a financial supporter of both the Aigas centre near Beauly and the Highland wildcat conservation effort in Badenoch. I suppose in a way that's to make up for the 19C stuffed ones we still have.

That's amazing! One of the points in the documentary is how elusive they are and how difficult it is to film them in the wild, so kudos to this hillwalker!

I'm glad to hear that it is now on Netflix. It can also be viewed on Amazon Prime.
