    I remember this one . . . good times, good times . . .
Barnett (House, no clan) -- Motto Virescit Vulnere Virtus (Courage Flourishes at a Wound)
Livingston(e) (Ancestral family allied with) -- Motto Se je puis (If I can)
Anderson (married into) -- Motto Stand Sure

And like a lot of Zappa lyrics, Python lines have infiltrated my daily speech...when there are no other words to describe a situation that I feel is going on WAY longer than it has any right to, if you stand really close to me you will hear me say under my breath, "...and Angus Potgorny went on to win Wimbledon...fifteen years later...".

    Other winners:

    "...every one a Masserati..."

"Frank! Looks like we've got an eater out here!"

    "...rule number one: no poofters!"

"Padre Bruce will now lead us in a prayer."

    ...and, of course:

"Of course it's got an 'ole in it! It wouldn't be an 'oop if it didn't 'ave an 'ole in it!"

Very funny but like a lot of Python sketches a bit long-winded after a while.

I think my all-time favourite was the gay privates on parade sketch.

Haven't seen that one in a long time did you notice the first Englishman to turn was named Harold Potter?
"If the Party could thrust its hand into the past and say this or that even, it never happened—that, surely, was more terrifying than mere torture and death."
