    USAKilts to the Rescue!

Hey Guys. Remember our friend in Iraq who played the pipes? Well go to http://kywimg.dayport.com/htm/kyw3pl...tm?Art_ID=9039 and hit the feed for the Iraq piper story. How about that!

I usually try not to make a post just to say something like "I agree." or "You're right." or "Wow, that's cool."

I try to only post if I have something of a little substance to say.

This time I have to make an exception because WOW, that's really cool.

Jimmy sent me the link, it's a camo kilt, glad to hear of a kiltmaker in the news. Every bit of positive news coverage does us all good.

Having just a dial-up connection that dies on a whim, the video just won't open for me. I'd be indebted if anyone could tell me the gist of the story.

If you will remember about a week ago someone posted a link to a news story about a black fellow in the Armed Forces fighting in Iraq. At the end of the day he would produce bagpipes and begin to play. He made comments about the fact that he loved the pipes and wish he had a kilt to wear while playing or something to that affect. Well apparently our own Jimmy The Carbomb Parkinson and his esteemed partner Rocky Roeger somehow found the guy and made him a desert camo kilt. It looks like a news affiliate in the PA area heard about it and did a story on the guy in Iraq and USAKilts making him a kilt.

    Very cool story!
