I dislike the PoWM website. It smacks of bullying and the pack mentality to me. Most of the contributions I've seen are related to how much more superior the commenters are, compared to those they comment about. In relation to this utili-kilted chap, seems like a number of the sniggerers have issues. In the main, I would say they are a group of insecure types who up their standing in their own tiny minds by mocking those who they see as outside of their personal norms.

Maybe they are just frightened of being different. Clearly most have no desire to be different. More fool them I say, they don't know what they're missing.

The commentors are annonomous which gives them false bravado... I imagine that those who have the negative comments would think twice before verbalizing them, in front of their "victims".

Yes there are some insulting comments there, but look at all the positive ones too!

At least it wasn't me in my Utilikilt. Though I think that I did catch someone taking my pic on a cell phone.

I know some guy took a picture of me in my UK on the Washington DC Metro last summer. I'm sure it is posted somewhere.

It is something to hear what people might be thinking when they see the kilted. Might be a reason to go a little more prepared when kilted in public.

If I'm correct that photo was taken at the store I work at here in West Texas because the person in question looks like a friend of mine and it was taken at about 4:30 in the morning by someone who was intoxicated and obnoxious. The person was removed from the store for harrassing employee(me and I'm kilted full time) and customer by management. But I can't be sure about it since it only lists the state and not the city.

Cool

I didn't see the 'Utili' in front of "kilt on People of Walmart" and thought; Oh crap, somebody finally got me! Dodged that bullet I guess.

But honestly, that's not a good look...
