Why Jack Bauer is cool

On Jack Bauer's Tax Returns, he has to claim the entire world as his dependents.

He's the man, alright. Watching 24 as I type this. Not sure about the color hose, though. Maybe we need to get him on the forum.

With a name like Sutherland, I'd hope he wears the kilt!

Ya know, when I first saw it I though, "Something isn't right." The jacket and waistcoat are good, the sporran matches the shoes, and he's not wearing white hose so what could it be? No kilt pin. Not a huge thing, but odd that something so small could throw me off.

I have to admit that I have no idea who the fellow is.To his credit he is smartly turned out with well polished brogues and not those awful ghillie things. Mael, you make an interesting comment about the colour of his hose(I assume you are talking about the green ones?). I would guess that that colour would be "the best seller" here in Scotland.

Jock,
He's Kiefer Sutherland, the star of a TV show in which each episode takes up one hour of his day, so you have to watch the whole season just to get from midnight to midnight. In the course of that day, he rescues kidnapped damsels, defeats international terror rings, thwarts plans of sabotage within his government agency, flies nuclear bombs into the desert to explode, survives said blast to return home for a few minutes, and has a teenage daughter to deal with.

Gosh! Thank you for that. I have not heard of that name either, but if he has a teenage daughter to deal with, then he has my sympathy!

Jack Bauer is the James Bond (or Jason Bourne) of the states.

Chained to a chair, tortured, and with the threat of death hanging over him, Jack just wanted something to eat.

Some people see the glass as half full. Others see it as half empty. Jack Bauer see the glass as a deadly weapon.

Jack Bauer never retreats, he just attacks in the opposite direction.

The city of Los Angeles once named a street after Jack Bauer in gratitude for his saving the city several times. They had to rename it after people kept dying when they tried to cross the street. No one crosses Jack Bauer and lives.

When bad things happen to good people, its probably fate. When bad things happen to bad people, it’s probably Jack Bauer.

When a convicted terrorist was sentenced to face Jack Bauer, he appealed to have the sentence reduced to death.

There are three leading causes of death among terrorists. The first two are Jack Bauer, and the third one is heart attack from hearing Jack Bauer is coming for them.

Jack Bauer quit for just five minutes, and a nuclear bomb went off.

Most people would need months to recover from 20 months of Chinese interrogation. Jack Bauer needs a shower, a shave and a change of clothes.

The list goes on...

Not withstanding the fact that he has no kilt pin I think he looks pretty sharp, including the colour of his hose.
