I haven't thought to DVR any of Ferguson's shows, but I've seen one or two here and there. My initial thought was that he would avoid anything in regard to his Scottish background to stay generic; so, I'm glad he's had the WT on. Has he ever said anything about St. Andrews Day, Hogmanay, Tartan Day, etc...?

On St. Andrews Day (Nov 30th) one year, Sean Connery showed up on Jay Leno's Tonight Show. Leno's mother was from Scotland. I thought that this was no coincidence, but neither mentioned the special day. Tom Sellect once showed up on Leno's show in a kilt and told Leno he should get with it. Leno just shrugged and smirked.

Yes Mr. Ferguson often mentions/refers to Scotland. As a matter of fact there is usually a referance made several times in each show. Though truth be known the referance is usually made towards modern events or his childhood. Great show though. One of the beter late night shows in my humble opinion.

    I'll have to catch it.
I like Conan O'Brien too, he makes occasional jabs at his Irish heritage, as well as the Scots.

    Update From The 'tinkers

    Latest from the Wicked Tinkers:

    Sunday, February 03, 2008

    That's right, Friends and Fans!
We're gonna be on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson (CBS) tonight, Monday, Feb 4th. Not sure exactly what tunes we're gonna do, but we're going to be helping Craig celebrate his new American citizenship!

If you can't stay up that late, Break out the Tivo (or VHS for those my age).

Damn I had to go to get up early today (thus went to bed early last night) and missed it too.

Does anyone have a link to a video online?
