Another 5-6 weeks :/
well now i understand why folks get so anxious waiting on delivery of the kilt ,
i called hector Russell's in Glasgow to find out whats happening with my kilt, i bought it way back on the 25th February ..
i was "told" back then marton mills doesn't have enough of the Chisholm ancient hunting tartan so they would need to weave more material , i thought fair enough at least the material will be newer than most tartans
i was "told" that they wouldn't run any more till after easter then it would be the average 6-8 weeks to get the kilt made up ,everything seemed to be fine
now I'm being "told!!" that marton mills never let hector Russel know the fabric was available and now i`ll be waiting till some time in July before i get the much awaited kilt ,
i`d hope to have it by now you know to make sure everything ship shape for my friends wedding on July 24th
i reckon hector Russell `s is just trying to pass the blame here
it was alot of money to pay back then Ive a large family and lots of birthdays presents are bought at the start of the year if i knew the time scale was going to be what it was id have just paid in installments
ach well what else can you do eh
wait i guess
sorry for the rant but the long wait....... arrghhh
