I was born in Aberdeen, on Queens Den Rd, on the west side, but grew up (attempted to at any rate) for the past 30 years in the US. My second cousin is Lord Scottye McClain Of Mull, who also happens to live about 3 miles from me here in Missouri. | Now I know Scotty McClain and he is definitely not a Lord!!! He may be a standing member of the Clan Maclean, the Seven Rivers Highland Society, and the St. Louis St. Andrew Society, but is most certainly not a British peer!!! I may not know you personally, but I do know Scotty. It saddens me to hear such falsification of real titles, given to the men and women who have either properly earned them or have indeed inherited them. Such a shame. |

Such a shame. | I've seen his patents my friend...and I also know Scottye (true friends know how to spell each others names) I live about three miles from him and know his entire family quite well...matter of fact, I just returned from a function attended by him, his wife April, and his son Collin....what are Scottye and Colllin's birthdays..good friend? You must be Joe Moore...that would explain quite a lot.....you would also know that he is not just a member of Seven Rivers..but past President. How are YOUR facts these days mate?
I emailed your post and my response to Scottye, as well as your profile....this will prove most embarassing to you.

Yikes! Heavy stuff. Did some quick googling and apparently Lord Scottye McClain has a facebook page http://www.facebook.com/lord.mcclain
Facebook treats the word Lord as a first name, sort of like Jack Lord had it for a last name.
Ironically, the Facebook page shows him a member of one of the forbidden kiltboards.
Perhaps he's a member here too...?
Look forward to the resolution of this matter.

This thread has been going south for a while.
I never thought this would be needed, but I must warn all members NOT to post the personal address information of any other users on the open forum.
