    back from Holidays

Hi all, wow, the wife and I had 10 days in South Australia, I come back and find over 2,500 new posts, NO chance of reading them all!

Being kilted in another state/on holiday is fun.
Had no trouble through airports except one female scanner operator really insisting on knowing the answer to the question while her female colleague kept insisting I was wearing a skirt!, all good fun. I find Australian airports very easy compared with other countries, I guess being Australian helps

For a city, Adelaide (the capital of SA) is conservative, I got a lot of weird looks, even disapproving looks....like I care!

I took six kilts with me, my lovely RKilt hemp and a few USAK's plus a good wool kilt for church services.
I'll post some piccies as soon as I can.

Graham, glad you had a good time and looking forward to the pics.

When you said you brought along 6 kilt (don't want to hyjack the thread but) aren't you amazed at how much room they take up in luggage?? Especially if you're bringing accessories. YIKES!

not at all! when the kilts are all rolled up they take little room, I took about 6 shirts, mostly T shirts, three sporrans, one pair of shoes (which I didn't use, I went mostly in sandals or barefoot). Kilts are the most wonderful garments for travelling, both to carry and to wear.
