Back to school - see you in December
My last year of university (for this round, anyway) starts on Tuesday. This forum is bad for my studies (would you rather write an essay on attacking the constructivist model for teaching mathematics or look at pictures in the Dos and Don'ts thread?) So, in a day or two, I will stop logging in until Christmas exams are done.
See you then. Enjoy your kilts!

Ahh . . . the trouble is, I bet you can't do it! It will take a good bit of self disciplkine not to take a peak back at the forum. Then you're hooked. Enjoy the studies.

See, that's the reason I posted: so you would say I couldn't stay away. Now I have to stay away to prove me right, and you wrong!

I agree, you should always minimize distraction while in school. God luck with your studies. But of course you won't read this until Christmas. O'Neille
Cowards die many times before their deaths; the valiant never taste of death but once. Of all the wonders I yet have heard, it seems to me most strange that men should fear; seeing that death, a necessary end, will come when it will come. --William Shakespeare, Julius Caesar

Yep, that’s what I used to do as the semester started up again, when I was in collage.
Of course, in those days, it was the CB radio. But, I remember sending out a “signing off until December” message.
Stay focused. Remove distractions. Then, you can achieve your goals.
Good luck, man!

Yeah...but wasn't that what Jack Nicholson kept typing over and over in "The Shining"?......look how that ended up.
Seriously, you have a lot more discipline than I ever had when I was at school and we didn't have the internet to distract us back then. Do well.
Best
