    camping

I own a 1980 VW Vanagon I have fitted out for camping.
I belong to a group (Wetwesties) that get together and go camping a few times a year, rain or shine.
I always am wearing a kilt so I do get a lot of " arn't you cold?" , other than that there is no problems.
My question to you folk is.
Are there any of you that own a VW Vanagon/Westy that you use, WHILE KILTED, for camping?

Outdoors is where the kilt is most at home IMHO. The kilt is the perfect hiking garment.

I plan to go camping this weekend, and thought about wearing my kilt all day Saturday, but cannot decide because getting the campfire smoke smell out of my wool kilt could present a slight problem. However, I drive a 2009 Ford F150, and have never owned a Volkswagon of any body type. Now that I think about it, I would like an older "bug" to play in!

So, do I get to change my kilt count when I have saved half the money to buy my next or when I get all the money together and actually order it? Either way, I'm getting close to 1.5!

I own a (towed) pop-up camper and camp about a dozen times each year at music festivals and house parties. I'm kilted at most of them.
