Wow, and I thought a shamrock on my Guinness was impressive! That is almost to pretty to drink. But this early in the day, I'd still manage to drink it. :-)

If I remember correctly, this sort of thing is a standard at barista competitions.

Check these out as well - From VIVACE Coffee Shop in Seattle. That's how you get your cappuccino served there.

In the semi-concious state in which I emerge from the bedroom each morning, I think that if I was able to focus on my cup of coffee sufficiently to make out these shapes it would certainly cause me great alarm. Perhaps if this was my third or fourth cup (preferably fifth) I might be able to appreciate the artistry.

Still a very cool link David.

    Cheers

One of the barista's where I go get coffee is the regional champion in coffee art. It is so neat to see those bits of art come across the counter.

    Thanks for posting this David.

That was my first thought on the matter too.

Still, they are nice to look at until the first sip.

p.s. I don't know his consumption habit but I probably DO drink as much coffee as Steve ( 2 pots/day)
