    Custom ordered walking staff!

    I recently ordered a custom carved walking staff from our resident carver and he out did himself.

    Get your drulling towels ready:

    Hey Rodger,
    here are the final pics, I have a couple more coats of laquer, then wax, polish, and wrap it up for the post.
    Thanks again,
    Eric

    This gentleman does excellent work, I can't wait for my staff to arrive.
    Again thank you Master Carver!

    That is a truly unique piece and it's going to suit you to a tee!!

    Just try not to check the mail ten times a day until it arrives.

    I'm sure I will be able to see a 65" staff sticking out of my 24" mail box all the way from my easy chair. No need to make special trips. You can be sure I will be watching a little.{Is it here yet?}

    I was just going to make the same Gandalf observation.

    A very nice walking staff indeed!

    hmmm

    I think its a bit pretentious to have a walking stick that resembles yourself...

    And who needs a walking stick when you have reindeere?

    The Reindeer are shy around the Highland Games so I need the Walking Staff for those occassions, getting ol'ya kno! It does sorta resemble me sorta.
    I think the staff looks better though!
