Smile That feeling in your chest? That's pride.

Tartan Day is this Friday, and I've made it into a week long celebration by wearing a kilt everyday this week, giving numerous presentations and concerts on campus and around Beloit and planning a big Tartan Day party on Friday Night. Last night, as I was sitting on porch with some friends, listeneing to bagpipes and sipping a Laphroaig 10 year, I thought to myself, "Wow, I love being Scottish."

I have complied a visual list of things I love about Scotland and my Scottish ancestory:

A very good collection. I've been needing the Highland Reg in kilts shot for my Myspace... thanks.

    Outstanding post, Greg!

I am hijacking the pic of the Ladies from Hell, though - I love that pic and it will make a great wallpaper for my lappy!

Nice pic of Melrose Abbey among those. Maybe you will come to Scotland for a few days and visit the Borders abbeys during your stay in Galway.
