    The Flat Holm

Sunday was our trip to the flatholm with our freinds. It was tipping down when we left but brightened up after an hour. Our little gang filled the boat so we had a good laugh as well. A few of them got plastered in seagull droppings and spit .. I was lucky and never received a hit. If I had known that in advance I would have worn my Cilt. After we all got back we all went home to get changed and then all met up again in the evening for a bit of a bash. I wore my Cilt of course.
Heres a few pic from the trip

Even in soggy weather, I'd rather be at sea (or at least seaside) than anywhere else. That last pic is my 'dream back yard'...nothin' but a dock, a boat (a trawler would be nice) and water as far as the eye can see. Great pics, Derek...thanks for sharing them.

    Derek

Looks like a great time, even in the damp. You must have my kind of luck, not wear the cilt - no droppings, wear it and ......

The wall was a brilliant move by the Scots: they had the Romans pay for and build a wall to keep the southerners and Romans out of Scotland
