    Interesting book

Have been tidying in the attic, and came across a book I aquired as a teenager, but never got round to reading. When I found it I let tidying be tidying, and started reading immediately.

John Prebble's "Glencoe" (1966) tells the story of the Massacre of Glencoe in 1692. Prebble has also written "The Buffalo Soldiers" and "Culloden".

Lots of names and excellent descriptions of the countryside, with appendices with tons of information and a good index of names and places.

    Well worth reading
