His name is Demon, and he's a Borzoi puppy - 8 1/2 months old. He's from a hoarding situation, and was semi-feral when I got him, but is making good progress transitioning to home life!

Excellent what lovely dogs but boy do they grow big, I met someone once who had two of them and they certainly take up a lot of room. I know what thats like as I have a Newfoundland who is a big boy too.
Always nice to hear that a canine friend has been given a new chance of a happy life. I hope that you have many happy walks together.

Fantastic! Good on you for getting a dog out of a bad situation and offering him a loving home. In my experience, borzoi have incredibly sweet dispositions. I don't think I've ever seen a black one. They must be pretty rare.

I want to give him a big kiss. What a pretty dog. You've foudn my weak spot. The bigger and softer the dog, the better! Thank you for rescuing him. I think hoarders mean well with their animals and they hurt so bad when they have to be taken away, but hes much safer with you.

I had dogs since I was a kid and never realized how big a hole there is without one until the last few years. Our previous labrador died of old age and we waited until after we moved to get another. Longest year and a half in a while.
