Kilted Eagle Scouts

The question was brought up on another thread http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/s...?p=852701about who amongst the members of XMarksTheScot are Eagle Scouts. If you are an Eagle Scout please post a reply with the year you received your Eagle (if you can remember). If your father or son is also an Eagle you can include that too.

I earned my Eagle Scout around 1989. My brother and two first cousins are also Eagles.

Cordially,

Just wondering, David, looking at your avatar, did you used to be a Bobwhite (a good ole Bobwhite, too)?

Eagle Scout class of 1985 (Old KY Home Council, 26 Nov 1985). I'm also a Bear: SR-211-38, 1997. Got my beads 10/31/1999.

My brother is also an Eagle (1991). Alas, he is not (yet) a kilt-wearer.

Class of '91

Eagle Scout class of '91, 12/21/91. Woodbadge Class NE-VII-13...at the age of 18...and I used to be an owl (do you see the irony for an 18yr old to be an owl?). Also Vigil Honor sometime about 1992 if I recall...I'd have to find my certificate to know for sure.

My Dad and son both made it to tenderfoot...my son dropped out because I was deployed and he wasn't having fun...trying to convince him to go back. My dad never rejoined...but he's now the Council Vice President for Program...and has been an active leader for at least the last 25 years.
