My friends big day on friday the 24th
Well folks the day is creeeping closer after 15 years of being tegether two very close friends are finally getting married...... he was 15 and she was 13 when they met now the childhood sweethearts are finally tying the knot ive known my mate since i was about 12 and his misses since i was about 10 its like waiting on my bro and sis getting married
and tommrow i get to get myself kilted up along with many other folk,
now i know alot of folk are prob thinking "only kilted for a weddings typical scot eh" well ive only had the kilt a few weeks and havent had any other places to wear it so think what you want lol
granted alot of folk will be wearing hire gear with white hose (who can blame them at around £500 plus to buy everything new )
itll be a great sight to see anything up to 10-20 maybe even more kilted folk having a great day or night .. oddly enough they opted for a night wedding so it wont start till 6pm on friday i guess itll give me more time to get my gear ready
i`ll get as many kilted photos as i can for folk on here to look at

Wherever and whenever you want to wear your kilt should be up to you, the freedom we have to wear a kilt should really also extend to when we want to wear it. I do look forward to the photos, and congratulations to them both.

thanks folks yeah your right about wearing it when we want ,it took me a few months to get all the gear i bought within a budget and I'm glad to say i think i went over budget buy about 40 quid so all in all i did well (id like to think so anyways )i should do a write up about kilting on a budget it might help others see kilts and the accessories aren't as dear as some may think
while im here glen i would like to wish you and your future wife all the best for saturday my thoughts are with you on the big day

Congratulations to the couple. I wonder, what color hose do you plan to wear?
