If you can avoid it never get into a fair fight.

Re: New addition to the family
I am currently trying to knit some flashes for a friend, and she's not helping.
But she's sure got that kitten joyfulness.
For me, there is nothing in this world that holds the same fascinating appeal as watching the backside of well kilted man...

They do seem to know when they are in a good home and loved. I love my German shepherd / collie mix (she is a 12-year-old sweetheart), but cats just have that personality thing going for them. The two cats we currently have (both female) can "put you in your place" with a cold stare and then be in your lap two minutes later begging for attention. And it's great fun watching two cats trying to give a very tolerant dog a bath!
Always keep in mind: A dog says, "He feeds me, gives me a nice home, and loves me. He must be a god!" While the cat says, "He feeds me, gives me a nice home, and loves me. I must be a god!"

Congratulations. She looks sweet. Nothing like a new kitty to make you feel younger too!

She was not particularly impressed with her first experience with snow.

I think she's much happier staying inside.

Thousand words in that one picture!
Such a cutie, as you might guess from my avatar Bob and I are servant to several cats (two of mine, two of my mother's, and only hers get along with each other after 3 years living together!). Knitting is quite the adventure around here, too.
