Re: New addition to the family

I am still a little worried about her, as we dropped her off for her spay and microchip placement this morning.

The other two cats actually seem to miss her today.
For me, there is nothing in this world that holds the same fascinating appeal as watching the backside of well kilted man...

I called and she made it through her surgery just fine. I can go and collect her around 6 pm. *whew*

She is home, groggy and refuses to admit it. But she's home

They are so sad/funny when they won't just lay still and insist on wobbling around. . . she'll be back to "zoom" before you know it!

Excuse me a moment, my daughter would like to say something:

'OMG, she's sooooo keyooooote, and faaaaaat and omg, can I have a kittieeeeeeeee, Mom, puleeeeeze. Awwwwwwwwwwww, soooo keyoooooote!!!!'

Translating for my daughter who can barely string real words together when she sees a cat, especially one as cute as yours: She lubs it.

She is a little cutie who demands a certain amount of spoiling. She's kind of bouncing between sleeping on me and trying to play with the other cats.

    She's so cute.
Just be careful when working with tartan. Cats seem to love wool.

Oh yes....(thanks for the scoop) Luckily, so far Hai, who's also my avatar btw is the only one who seems to be drawn to the wool. Unfortunately, she also the semi-feral, kinda scary kitty here. The menfolk have learned to respect her Hai-ness.. the hard way. Tartan and darkness seem to attract all of the pointy bits.

From my end.. I find it very amusing

Everybody should have at least one cat...I've got three.

They tell you that you can't just have one because it'll get lonely when you're not home...so you get another. Then you hear, "Oh...three cats isn't any more trouble than taking care of two..."....right....until you empty the litter box!

And, as I always say: if your life doesn't have enough chaos in it, get a cat...if you REALLY want chaos, get a Siamese Cat.

Well, after the Dixie died (now you all know how I came up with my xmarks name), we tried a Ragdoll, rescuing her from being sent to the pound. But, she needed a more structured home and more attention that she got from a working mom and a child that spends half her time elsewhere. Lolah ended up at a home with another Ragdoll and two doting people. I ended up with a garage full of fur fluff.
The daughter is currently angling to take Squeek, her friend's cat for the summer. However, I'd rather send the daughter over to Turbokittie's to help with the litter boxes. Going once....twice.....
