    Non-kilt pics

But here's one of a horse that *isn't* only suitable for dog food. We just brought him home this morning and we'll take him out for a ride tomorrow morning. His name's Cruiser, he's a Tennessee Walking Pony, and he's the black one.

Good clear pictures; its cute how they know to look at the camera while having their photo taken.

It's pathetic when the horses look better in pictures than I do. O'Neille
Cowards die many times before their deaths; the valiant never taste of death but once. Of all the wonders I yet have heard, it seems to me most strange that men should fear; seeing that death, a necessary end, will come when it will come. --William Shakespeare, Julius Caesar

Nice looking horse, I went riding for the first time last year, and really enjoyed it.

    What incredible animals. Absolutely beautiful!

Have you been watching any Xena re-runs lately?

The horses are amazing and beautiful animals.

My youngest daughter did english riding for about 4 years. We quite enjoyed watching her learn to ride and jump. There is a sub-culture built around the animals that has a certain appeal to it but like so many interesting endeavors, it can get expensive. Our daughter decided to give it up after several nasty falls. I sometimes miss the fun of those days we spent watching my daughter ride and jump. Although without that cost, I've been able to afford a few kilts since then.
