Once In A Lifetime Moment

We just shared in a lifetime moment.

When the clock reached 1:02 and three seconds this morning it
was the only moment in our lives that the numbers lined up like
this: 01:02:03:04:05:06.

What a great thing to know that we all were under the same
sky sharing the same “Once in a lifetime moment.”

Share another moment this afternoon at 1:02:03 04-05-06

Wouldn't this afternoon be 13:02:03 04/05/06 though?

That's cool, and if you went hour/minute/second/day/month/year then next month you could the same except 01:02:03 04/05/06

And that, my friend, opens things up for a wonderful joke...

A crusty old Sergeant Major found himself at a gala event hosted by a local liberal arts college. There was no shortage of extremely young, idealistic ladies in attendance, one of whom approached the Sergeant Major for conversation.

"Excuse me, Sergeant Major, but you seem to be a very serious man. Is something bothering you?"

"Negative, ma'am. Just serious by nature."

"The young lady looked at his awards and decorations and said, "It looks like you have seen a lot of action."

"Yes, ma'am, a lot of action."

The young lady, tiring of trying to start up a conversation, said, "You know, you should lighten up a little. Relax and enjoy yourself."

The Sergeant Major just stared at her in his serious manner.

Finally the young lady said, "You know, I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but when is the last time you had sex?"

"1955, ma'am."

"Well, there you are. You really need to chill out and quit taking everything so seriously! I mean, no sex since 1955! She took his hand and led him to a private room where she proceeded to "relax" him severaltimes.

Afterwards, panting for breath, she leaned against his bare chest and said, "Wow, you sure didn't forget much since 1955!"

The Sergeant Major, glancing at his watch, said in his matter-of-fact voice, "I hope not, it's only 2130 now."

(Don't ya love military time?!)

Depends whether you put the day and month the European or American way round, here in Scotland 04/05/06 means 4th May, 2006.

Most of the world does it that way, in fact.

The US military does it that way as well, mainly to avoid confusion with the European allies.

Really? I thought they might use the NATO style: YYYY/MM/DD. Good to know, thanks.

And remember this entire thing only works for those of us using the Christian Calendar. It's quite a different year in the Jewish & Chinese calendars.

And the day that this moment will happen is different still for those societies in Orthodox Christianity that use the Julian Calendar.
