I would be... pre-reg'ged and all... but I had a heart attack, so now I'm not going that far from a hospital.

B.Somm usually goes, you might PM her. And Mac - I think that's pretty near some fine hospitals - really...I'm thinkin' Banner has a new one on the far west side.

The war happens in Florence. If something happened, that's pretty far from Phoenix's west side. My cardiologist says no, so... there's always next year.

I'm thinking about hitting the Az Ren Fair instead, though not that same weekend. Tartanic is playing the fair again, and my friend Epaul, of Gryphon Song Jewellers, has a booth this year.

There was indeed a time when Estrella war was held at Estrella Mountain Park. But it's been at its current location and dropping attendees for the last several years. There's talk that if they don't find another location next year, there may not be a war.

that would be sad if it ended..... my first war was estrella XIII held at estrella mountain park.

XX was the biggest I remember. hopefully they find a suitable site for the next one. the present one is ok but it lacks something...idk what ....but the feel isnt the same even between schnepf farms and E.M.P. the "feeling" was there.

I'm sorry to hear about your heart attack! heres to a speedy recovery!
this last year they actually had an urgent care set up at the chierugun's (sp) point. a friend of mine actually had a heart attack on site, and they were able to get him taken care of right away.

hope to see you at the next( if it happens) war

I'll be there. I'm doing the hotel thing, but if the weather holds, then you can find me marshalling on the rapier field, working security or over in Mons Tonitrus lands w/ Horde Camp.

It would be neat to meet up w/ some Xmarkers at Estrella!

Gonna miss ya Mr. MacDougall, hope ya feel better & heal quickly!

I'll be camping in the Barony of tir yisgithir ( I can never remember how to spell it!

we'll be camping under the name of " the pipers" since we have a few with us and until we come up with a better household name then ("a loose conglomeration of friends who like to camp together at war"....it doesnt really have a ring to it does it?

see ya @ war!

if you're oot and a boot walking we'll be an easy camp to spot.
2 carousel pavilions with green tips (one big one small)
a brown and green yert
a "castle" type tent
a square pavilion
and one mudane tent
come by and have a dram with us if I dont find you first!
