    Utilikilts Yahoo Group

Okay, well I could not get into the XMarks forum today because of some DNS issue and was bouncing around here and there and found in the Bravehearts forum how to modify my hosts file to get in here by bypassing the DNS lookup...

In the process I saw this link for the Utilikilts discussion group in Yahoo. I can't go out there from here at work but wondered if it was a good place and if anyone knew?

After I bought my Suvival from them I joined the group. I honestly spent only a few minutes in the forum becuase of the obviously immature base of the forum. It was a lot of "teenage angst" and "I love pissing of the establishment" mentality. Never went back and don't miss a thing about it.

I think it would be best to try it yourself if you want to find out. after all it's a personal thing in the end anyway

The yahoo group is more than just a kilt group. While it does occasionally have good kilt related content (discussion of a friends request that someone not wear a kilt while with them at the moment), it does devolve regularly into politics, religion, gun control etc. The common denominator is that everyone there is a UK wearer (for the most part). I don't post there much anymore (but still read daily), but I have been known to get into all the above and more.

So depends on what you are looking for as a group, peaceful kilt only topics (here) or the occasional knock down, drag out brawl with fellow kilt wearers.

I'm like some of the others here. I joined up, hung around for a month or so, then decided I didn't like the general feel of the forum. I'd rather be here, on Xmarks.
