Woohoo!
Not a big to anyone but me but I finally placed in solo competition in Highland snare drumming at the Springfield Illinois Highland Games this weekend! 1st place!
Like I said, not a big deal to anyone else really but I've been working at this for four years and finally a little bit of validation, nice! A good day for me! My band also placed, 3rd overall in our grade. considering we played a bad medley by our standards, not too shabby!
