Celtic Concert Series at Longwood Gardens, PA

For those of us in the SE PA region, Longwood Gardens is having a Celtic Concert Series this summer. I plan on going to as many of these as I can.

    Some of the bands:

    Gaelic Storm
    Celtic Spring
    Scythian
    Cathie Ryan
    Back of the Moon

Here is a link to their website with some more information.

Looks interesting. I live in the area and my parents are right down the road from there. I saw some of these band at the Mid Winter Fest and look forward to seeing them again, especially Scythian.

Aww, that's just plain mean. I am a huge Scythian fan and their concert is on a weeknight. They don't play in the area much so I try to catch any local show but no way I can make a Tuesday night.

My wife and I went to see Gaelic Storm on Sat. night. It was my first time seeing them, and they were fantastic.
If anyone has the opportunity, I would recommend them highly!

On a side note, of the thousand or so people at the show, there were only 2 kilts in the place...me and another guy. Oh well...that just meant I got more than my share of compliments. Hope the other guy faired as well.
