Just for the fun of it, I'm proud to present my new set of G pipes.
2 drones, 1 1/2 octave (from G to C )

Bon jour Robert. Lovely new instrument! Is that a 22 pouce chanter? Who was the facteur? I love the sound of the low G cornemuses, but see them all too rarely. Can you put up another photo showing the graveur on the chanter stock?
By the way, I've really enjoyed the recordings you've made with Jean Blanchard.

NICE! Very nice. I like the artwork on the section where the tubes come together. I am sure that part has a name . I just do not know what it is

By the way, I've really enjoyed the recordings you've made with Jean Blanchard. | Thank You so much. This is a 16 pouces (G - C) set. I do have a low C - F set (23 pouces) and an even lower A - D set (26 pouces)
BTW, "pouces" are ancient French inches .
If you want I would be happy to post some photos of these pipes.
Here is the chanter stock:
wonderful scrimshaw work done by a piper friend. We made a swap: a week-end piping masterclass at home (+ me cooking!) in exchange of this oriental nineteenth century "Béchonnet" style chanter stock.
