    Smile Molly's Revenge

I just got back from the Thursday Night Market Place in Hanford, and Molly's Revenge was there. They are quite the exciting band, though mellow, and somewhat country-ish, i enjoyed them a great deal. Any one know where else they are playing?

Fudgeman beat me to the draw with their website. They're a great group. Although my wife and I discovered the group through their piper, David Brewer. When we lived in San Jose, we would catch David whenever he was playing at the Kings Head Pub in Campbell. Bought a Molly's Revenge CD there one night,..and we have been hooked ever since.

David's parents live near me. I run into them in the grocery store occasionally and they always stop and talk to me because of the kilt. Some of the folks in the Portland/Vancouver area have taken to affectionaly calling David the "Bobble-head Piper" because of his unique style. The fiddle player, John Weed, is pretty darn good too. They're kind of easy going and "folkey". Well worth checking out.
