Music of the Celts
Did anyone see the ABC (BBC) series on TV called "The Celts"?
I was always impressed with the music, the other day I bought it, the group is called Adiemus, and features the amazing voice of Miriam Stockley.
pretty good music!

Graham,
I, too, was struck by the soundtrack. I haven't purchased it, but I have several of the tracks on a CD given to me by a friend. Good series, better music.

Graham, that is an excellent musical choice. I have not seen that series, but I was introduced to Adiemus in high school. I was in marching band, and my freshmen year we performed selections from the first Adiemus album. I got ahold of the album after that, and really enjoy the music quite a bit, as I did when performing it.

well having seen the excellent series on the celts, I now associate the music with it, and i really think that the tracks Adiemus and Elegia capture the whole romance and mystery of the celtic people. At least in my mind anyway.
I just keep wanting to play the tracks over and over, brilliant stuff!

Not from Enya???
As far as I remember, the famous series "The Celts" from BBC had an original soundtrack from Enya, who recorded that as her first solo job after leaving Clannad. At least that's what I had from Spain, and I talk about more than ten years ago!

You're right. I just checked my copy (I bought the series a while ago) and on the back cover, Enya is the only credit given for music.

Perhaps Graham and I are talking about two different series?
