Piper UP!!!!!
I posted about a month ago about my nerve damage and inability to hold a seal playing the GHB. Well I sold my pipes for $660 on eBay (a great price for the pipes I had).
Well I'm proud to say I pulled the trigger on a set of three drone small pipes from Roddy MacLellan this afternoon. They will be in A and will be his first set made from blackwood with cocobolo mounts. His pipes are incredible and the best priced around. It was either his pipes or Alexandre Anistratov pipesland.com and the price and sound made me choose him.
I will be piping by the end of January.
I'm back!!!!!

Wonderful news! Happy to read it.
If you can figure out how to post audio snaps, send us a song, or a pibroch.

Re: Piper UP!!!!!
So glad to hear it! I must have missed your earlier post about the nerve damage. That really sucks. I had to stop myself, thought I am still on only a practice chanter I have developed some issues in my left wrist which prevents me from reaching all the holes. It's slowly getting better, but I am not sure at this point if it is something I'll ever get back too.

I'm glad to hear you are doing better Cower, and I do look forward to seeing pics of the new pipes. However, I am somewhat concerned about your affection for musical marine mammals!
