From Tartan Week New York, to Border village halls, ‘the boys’ delight wherever they go. They play traditional Scottish music with a rock n’ roll attitude and a lively banter guaranteed to evoke the feel good factor. Join them as they play their own unique blend of haunting ballads, roof raising refrains and sing along anthems using a range of instruments including guitars, bagpipes, whistles, bodhrans and bouzoukis. A bar and catering will be available.

from Hawick in the Scottish Borders.

I knew Ian SCOtt and David CHApman before they became famous as Scocha, through Ian's brother Frankie Scott whom I worked beside and who also played centre forward with Hawick Royal Albert FC throughout the four years I was club secretary. If I recall correctly Ian also played some matches for the team.

I went along to the Scocha gig in Dumfries last Saturday night with the Norwegian contingent who were staying at the guest house owned by xmarker Pour1Malt. It was wonderful to hear Scocha play in the old Theatre Royal which Robert Burns frequented.

You will find plenty of Scocha fans on this forum!
