    I've been told by a Canadian pal of mine that the Canadian Passport Department (or whatever it's actually called) is notoriously slow. Is that true?
    I just got my renewal US passport in less than a month.

    I just got my renewal US passport in less than a month.
    Wait times for the Canadian Passport is 4-6 weeks, so not that bad.
