    Anyone in London?

My wife and I will be passing thru London (England) a few days before Christmas and I just wanted to know if there are any of the kilted rabble in or around the city. She wants to go see a show and I couldn't care less about the theater. So, I will have a couple of hours to kill in the city. How lucky can one man be. I will be bringing my kilt, as we are going on to Germany , Austria, and Hungary. Now there is a non sequitur if I've sever seen one . We will be traveling over the holidays and I can't wait to get on the airplane. Looking forward to seeing some of the rabble. I don't know our itinerary for the continent yet, but when I get it from my travel manager, I will post it. Thanks

    Frank,

I do not live in London, but it is only just over an hour away on the train and I go up there fairly frequently - especially, if it coincides with a kiltie passing through!!!

If it can be an early evening meet up (late evening and I cannot get home again, such is our train service!), I'd be delighted to spend some time with you, but please let me know the precise dates as soon as you know them yourself. Planning anything that close to Christmas is usually a bit of a nightmare!

I'd advise your wife to get her theatre ticket booked ASAP as most West End theatres are fully booked at that time of year. For example, I recently saw 'Billy Elliot - The Musical' at a matinee performance and had to book the seats seven months ahead!!!

I will be passing through Heathrow on December 21st. I wasn't going to go into London proper but if there (miraculously) happens to be something going on I'd be delighted to consider it.

I'll keep an eye on the thread.

I'm still trying to get my personal travel assistant (wife) to nail down some dates. I have to know when to ask for time off. I'll keep in touch. Thanks

We arrive at Heathrow around 9:00 (0900). Wife has gotten tickets for her play on that night. (Thursday). Sooooooo, if any one is up to it, we could get together that evening. Friday night is Spamalot!

In the theater district? Stop by James Smith & Sons. It's a great place to browse.

Sounds like a fun trip. Don't miss the botanical gardens in Graz.

The Hallein salt mine outside Salzburg is a fun tour.

    Have a good time!
