My high School orchestra is hosting a swing dance, Friday, May 1st from 6:00pm to 10:00 pm. We have a silent auction, food, and the Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra inn addition to some Jazzy tunes by our own Jazz Band and easy listening by the OHS Combined orchestra. Everyone who goes always has a blast, and there's free dancing lessons included. No information yet on prices, but I do know that there will be a small cover charge, then a little extra for food and drink. Since it's a school function, there won't be any alchohol, but it'll be fun anyway. It'd be great to see some kilties there!

Where's the location?

Our school. I can disclose exact directions and prices once we have the final information finalised, but the school is at 12400 E Jewell Ave. in Aurora. It's about a mile west of I-225 near Iliff and Peoria.It is a community event, not just a school dance, and it is the Orchestra's primary source of income throughout the year.

As of today at 3:14 and 21 seconds, the admission prices will be:

Children:

• Cover $3
• Food: An additional $3

Adults:

• Cover $5
• Food for an additional $5

Free dancing lessons are included in the cover charge.

A great night of food and dancing for only $6-10 a head. Great deal.
