Binghamton, NY, Kilt Night!
What: "Twin Tiers Kilt Night"
Where: McGirk's Irish Pub, Chenango Commons, Chenango Bridge, NY.
That's just east of Binghamton. Take I-88, Exit 2, cross the
bridge and you're there!
When: Saturday, 10 September, and the 2nd Saturday of each month thereafter.
Details: McGirk's is easy to find, has lots of parking, lots of space, great food
and drinks (Guiness, Harp, etc.). Live music begins at 8:00pm.
If you want to begin the evening with a meal, suggest getting there
around 6:00 to get a table....
See you there!

Kilt Night in Binghamton
Brian -- You'll be about 5 min. from my house, which is in Greater Metropolitan Castle Creek :-D . Any plans for a round of "kilt golf" at the course there?

Castle Creek! Where I first played pee-wee baseball MANY years ago!! I went to Chenango Forks and now live in Port Crane.
Anyways, if anyone IS interested in a round of kilted golf, come early. McGirk's sits right on the edge of a par-3 course. I don't play, myself....

Well, in addition to folks on this Forum, the word on "Twin Tiers Kilt Night" in Binghamton has gone out to the local Scottish society, the Hibernians, the area pipe bands, denizens of various tattoo parlors, etc. Interest has been good, and we should have a quite decent initial turnout...!
People have asked what time it starts, as if it's some sort of structured "event." It ain't! The live music begins at 8:00pm. I'll probably head over around 7:00ish.
